National Safety Corporation: Operation Patriot
Tustin, CA— The National Safety Corporation, NSC, and Instant Presenter, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Vista and the Boys & Girls Club of Vista,
today announced details of the fourth special operation to unite service members deployed in Iraq with loved ones here in California - Operation Patriot.
Spawned from the incredible success of Operation Connect, held in December 2005, Operation Love Connect, held February 11, 2006 and Operation
Salute, held on May 26, 2007. The Operation Patriot event, in celebration of the 4th of July, will again unite loved ones. The name “Operation Patriot” was
selected as the title for this event benefiting the true patriots of our day, the service members of the United States Armed Forces and their families.
The three previous events gave Marines deployed in Iraq, the opportunity to have a live face-to-face Internet based video conversation with loved ones here
in the United States. Using the Instant Presenter web presentation and conferencing system, the families received a 20 to 30 minute video meeting with
their loved ones serving in Iraq. The Rotary Club of Vista and the Boys and Girls Club of Vista, are again acting as the hosts for the special event. Marines
from the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion (1st LAR Bn), the “Highlanders” and their families will participate in the fourth installment of this very
The Operation Patriot global event will take place on Saturday, June 30, 2007 starting at 9:00 AM PST. It takes place at the Boys & Girls Club of Vista, 410
W. California Ave, Vista, CA 92083. There will be three separate private rooms for the families to meet with their Marines. The service members in Iraq will
also have a private area to enjoy the time as they speak with and actually see their family members. Each new video event has increased over the previous
event in the number of participating Marines and family members. The first event had about 30 Marines with their families and the second about 35. The
latest installment of these special operations had nearly twice as many, with almost 70 Marines connecting with over 150 of their family members, which
included wives, children, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, mothers, fathers and family friends.
